Exhibition "INTERMEZZO" of the European Art Circle

The exhibition features images, ceramics, and crochet objects by artists from the European Art Circle. The art association "Académie Européenne des Arts" (A.E.A.) was founded in Belgium in 1968. Subsequently, national sections were established in many European countries as independent cultural associations. The founding of the Austrian national section took place in 1980. Since then, the European Art Circle Austria has looked back on a large number of successful exhibitions. The number of members has now risen to almost 70 freelance artists. The themes and styles of the exhibiting artists are extremely diverse and encompass a wide range of techniques. In addition to informal, abstract, representational, and fantastic art, the exhibition also showcases magnificent glass and ceramic objects as well as crocheted bags in various sizes, colors, and shapes.
The participants in this noteworthy exhibition are: Irmgard Berger (crocheted bags), Gertrude Kiefer (informal painting), Rosemarie König (watercolors and partially abstract acrylic paintings), Sigrid Nepelius (Fantastic Realism/drawings), Christine Hirschberg (Fantastic Realism/drawings), Monika Haugeneder (Fantastic Realism/drawings), Eddie Müller (oil and acrylic painting/drawings), Patrick Eisemann (acrylic painting), Doris Schmölzer (ceramics), Eva Lobmeyr (glass art), Silvia Ornezeder (printmaking and acrylic paintings), Margarete Stollberger (oil and acrylic paintings), Anton Thurnberger (botanical grinding images), Mike Gerstl (surrealism), Johann Meier (surrealism), Karl-Heinz Vinkov (printmaking), Christian Gschöpf (caricatures).
