Ksch. ERWIN STEINHAUER presents "The Honor Student" and "The Emperor's Bust" by Joseph Roth. "The Honor Student" (1916) tells the story of a top student who, despite academic success, fails in life. "The Emperor's Bust" (1935) takes you to Galicia, to the small village of Lopatyny. At the center is Count Morstin, who struggles to come to terms with the end of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy and still dreams of the restoration of the multi-ethnic state. Musical accompaniment: ANDREJ SERKOV (button accordion).
