Cellar Rats? What, who, how, ...?
This name has confused many people to this day and has already caused an epidemic of headaches, leading to acute migraines.
So we decided, before more headaches occur, to finally bring this to light:
In 1995, we began rehearsals for the duo in the cellar of the Deutinger family's guesthouse.
Naturally, there were also stimulating musical sounds to be heard late at night.
The next morning, the homeowner Johann Deutinger explained the nighttime noise to his bewildered guests with the cool line: "Last night? That was definitely our CELLAR RATS." And that's how we still call ourselves today. True to their motto, the Cellar Rats go on the attack at the Steinbockalm from 12:30 to 16:00.
