Holland Market in Aurich

On Sunday, July 5, 2026, Aurich's city center will be under Dutch flag. From 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the entire marketplace is reserved for the Dutch with their diverse specialties. The local businesses also invite you to a Sunday shopping event starting at 1:00 PM. The Holland market offers a wide variety of treats and Dutch goods, featuring more than 30 stalls. The list of stalls is diverse. Culinary delights include Poffertches, Dutch bread, honey waffles, fish, spices, and Dutch cheese. Garden and decoration enthusiasts will also find plenty to enjoy: flower bulbs, colorful tulips, houseplants, and colorful birdhouses line the market. Additionally, there are sales stalls featuring what is known as "leg fashion," meaning stockings and tights in all variations, as well as a rich selection of Dutch wooden clogs. Furthermore, vendors will showcase children's fashion and all sorts of "pots and pans." The Sunday shopping event will be accompanied by a 15-member brass band from the Netherlands.
