Elblandia: FULL ACCORDION – INSTRUMENT OF THE YEAR

Alongside well-known works from classical music and tango, unusual, experimental sounds will be heard – the instrument is still very young and particularly well-suited to contemporary music. Three professional musicians, skilled and specialized in the instrument, will shape this concert. Each will bring a musical partner on board. In blocks of 15–20 minutes, they will present "their" music: everything from classical to pop and funk to free improvisation will be included. Between the musical segments, the performers will share insights about their approach to music, their daily lives, and their profession. The concert aims not only to showcase the stylistic diversity of the accordion but also to reveal something about the history of the instrument and its players.
