Guided tour of the old town of Potsdam

Meeting at the Obelisk on the Old Market During the city tour through historic Potsdam, you will experience the following highlights: Old Market with St. Nicholas Church, Brandenburg Parliament with the baroque facade of the former Potsdam City Palace, Old Town Hall and Museum Barberini; the Marstall / today's Film Museum; the New Market; a section of the reconstructed city canal, the church tower of the former Garrison Church currently under reconstruction, a copy of its carillon, the Great Military Orphanage, the Old Guardhouse, the Catholic Church of St. Peter and Paul, the pedestrian zone of Brandenburg Street with its many shops, cafés, and restaurants, the Lindenstraße Memorial with its diverse history, the Brandenburg Gate, the Jägertor, the Nauener Tor with its new art installation, and of course the famous Dutch Quarter. You will also learn about the baroque old town with its remarkable historic townhouses, along with numerous anecdotes. Duration of the tour is approximately 2 hours.
