RangerTour: Native Reptiles

Which native reptiles live in our biosphere reserve? We will explore selected habitats and, with favorable weather and a bit of luck, we might even see the animals. A focus of the excursion will be the smooth snake, one of the lesser-known snakes in Germany. We will learn where the smooth snake, which is critically endangered in Brandenburg, lives in our biosphere reserve and why it requires a mosaic of different habitat types. The route is approximately 3 km long. Note: Please bring weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear. The exact meeting point will be announced upon registration.
