RangerTour: Canoeing Tour on the Elbe

What are the special features of the Elbtalaue? On the canoe tour along the Wittenberge-Rühstädter Elbniederung nature reserve, you will learn about them from a ranger of the Nature Conservation Authority. The tour will cover topics such as the animal and plant life, flood dynamics, and the groynes along the Elbe. A lunch break will be taken in Hinzdorf before the tour ends at the Wittenberge inland port. Note: The route is approximately 15 km long. Prerequisites for participation are some paddling experience and physical fitness. Participants should bring weather-appropriate clothing (e.g., sun protection), sturdy footwear, binoculars, and self-catering for the break. A shuttle service from Wittenberge to Rühstädt can be offered for the paddlers at the end of the tour. 3-person and 4-person canoes are available.
