Over 20 spaces will open their doors, showcasing a diverse spectrum of artistic expressions – from painting, sculpture, and installation to performance and media art – once a year, in parallel with art karlsruhe. From backyard workshops to private apartments and former industrial halls, the participating spaces demonstrate how multifaceted, lively, and surprising art can be. Visitors will encounter not only works of contemporary art but also the artists themselves, who make their processes and perspectives directly accessible. Each station thus becomes an individual experience space, where creativity is tangible in close proximity to its creation process – open, diverse, and surprising. This openness makes the exploration of artistic places even more immediate. In parallel to the art fair art karlsruhe, Kunstrauschen offers an alternative perspective on artistic production and creates space for formats that emerge independently of established institutions. Kunstrauschen sees itself as an invitation to dialogue, as a platform for exchange and inspiration.
