Constanze Freudenberger's objects are transformations. Introduction: Jan Merk, historian and author, director of the Dreiländermuseum Lörrach Numerous objects and found items that came into her possession during the creative process underwent a creative metamorphosis and were ultimately given new meaning by the artist. Whether red deer, wood grain, pasta book, or amuse d'oeil—her crafted creations, together with the ironic wordplay in the titles, have undergone unexpected transformations.
The choice of materials is wide-ranging; Constanze Freudenberger uses wood, stone, wire, fabric, and plaster in her objects, as well as sweet potato peels, pumpkin, pods, and pasta. **Opening: Friday, March 20, 2026, 7:00 p.m.**
