Pilgrimage with light luggage during Lent

The Lent invites us to simplify and take a new look: What do I carry with me – and what can become lighter? When hiking with light luggage, we not only practice external reduction but also a more conscious, stress-reduced approach to our lives. In walking, pausing, and exchanging ideas, space is created for what is essential. A pilgrimage day that invites us to move forward with less baggage and more clarity. Sabine Gumsheimer, a pilgrimage guide, will provide you with impulses for the Lent along the way. There will be time for exchange, silence, and slowness. We will start at 10:00 AM at the church in Waldburg. The route will take us along the Martinusweg from Waldburg to Weingarten. The pure walking time is about 3 hours – plus time for small impulses, breaks, and moments of reflection. We will return using public transport, so we expect to arrive back in Weingarten around 4:00 PM.
