WIsiBU Clothing Swap Party - Wear & Share

On Friday, February 13, 2026, the Kulturhaus Schwanen, together with Waiblingen Klimaneutral, invites you to the WIRsindBUNT clothing swap party & more. Starting at 5 PM, we will swap and celebrate – with music and many ideas around sustainable consumption and reuse. As part of the WIRsindBUNT action week, the Kulturhaus Schwanen, in collaboration with Waiblingen Klimaneutral and other partners, is hosting a large clothing swap party & more. The hall will open at 5 PM for everyone who is interested in sustainable fashion, good music, and new connections – no admission fee, no registration required.

The idea is simple: Everyone brings well-preserved clothing that could bring joy to others and is allowed to take home new favorite pieces. Music and beats will be playing, snacks will provide energy, and conversations will inspire. Here are the important rules for the clothing swap: Please bring wearable, current, and washed clothing to the event. Place the clothing on the designated tables or hang them on the clothing racks. Each person may submit a maximum of 15 clothing items. You can bring and take items independently of each other. There will be no accounting against each other. Not only clothing will be swapped, but also knowledge and ideas – around reuse, upcycling, repair, and green fashion. Information booths and small participatory actions on sustainable consumption are planned, local initiatives will present their work, and there may be an upcycling corner or a mini-repair café. The focus is on trying things out together: less consumption, more community. The evening combines the lightness of an after-work party with the spirit of a networking meeting – a place where generations and perspectives come together. Anyone interested can simply drop by, browse, swap, or engage in conversation during the get-together. Music, snacks, and an open atmosphere will make it an evening that shows: Sustainability can be fun – and fashion connects.
