About the Illusionist: Dennis Rush was born in the Karlsruhe district. From an early age, he developed the desire to perform in the circus and was trained by artists, including those from the Moscow State Circus, at the Swiss Circus Harlekin since the age of nine, always during the holidays. He quickly found his love for magic and presented his first small magic show at the age of 11. His performances soon gained wider recognition, and at 14, he completed his first tour of Germany with the unique illusion of the "Flying Carpet" from the Walt Disney film Aladdin. Alongside his academic and professional training, he continued to develop his illusion show, specializing in grand illusions. On average, over 100 shows were performed each year. After completing his training, Dennis Rush went on tour and has been working full-time as an illusionist since 2009. His performances have been showcased in many major circus companies and shows, such as the German National Circus Carl Busch, delighting over 100,000 visitors each year. After years of planning and nearly 20 years of experience in the family entertainment sector, the Children's Magic Theater "Phänomenal" was founded in 2019 and now delights young and old visitors, primarily in Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Bavaria, and Hesse, presenting around 300 performances each year.
