In the survival training, fundamental skills for surviving in the woods are taught, often based on traditional craft techniques. Together, we will explore with all our senses what can currently be found in the environment, and the participants will get to know, collect, and create something useful for everyday life from herbs and materials found in the forest (such as making tools, containers, and wooden spoons). Additionally, we will provide knowledge about plants and food preparation. Regardless of how much outdoor experience a person has or how trained they are, finding oneself suddenly alone in an unfamiliar area, without equipment and without certainty of quick help, can be an emotional, mental, and physical shock. Therefore, in our nature craft project days, alongside the basics of survival, such as orientation and navigation in nature, finding/purifying emergency food and drinking water, plant and herb knowledge, first aid in outdoor settings, heat and fire generation, and overcoming natural and artificial obstacles, we also teach fundamental principles of survival psychology. "How do you behave in emergencies when there is no electricity?"; "How can you manage without any tools?"; "What equipment do you need, and what if it gets damaged or falls into the water?" Participants will learn the basics and apply what they have learned directly on-site. This is about consciously exposing oneself to boundary experiences and mastering them under supervision. In life-threatening situations, proper preparation can provide a significant advantage in coping with the situation. Nature craft as a component includes: - Woodworking - Fibers and cords (harvesting and processing plant fibers into cords and ropes) - Processing natural materials (e.g., making clothing or equipment) - Knot knowledge. Target group: Children and teenagers, age group 10-18 years. Meals: Lunch and drinks included. What to bring: Comfortable/old clothes (possibly a change of clothes), water bottle, small snacks.
