RangerTour: Green and brown at the toad fence

Concert Spring. When the Moor Frog, Common Toad, and others awaken from their winter quarters, they return to their birthplace for spawning. The road traffic poses a significant danger to them. We want to see with our own eyes the amphibian fence set up by rangers and volunteers and lend a hand: expertly identifying frogs, toads, and newts and then carrying them across the road. During a detour to the spawning waters, we will learn why they are so special and worth protecting. A close-up experience for young and old alike.
