Every Sunday in March, you can visit one of the unique museums in our region as part of an exclusive tour. Memorial Tower Großbeeren The historic tower commemorates the victory of the Prussian troops over the French army of Emperor Napoleon in the Battle of Großbeeren on August 23, 1813. In the small museum, you can learn about the historical significance of the site and the background of the victory festival celebrated every year at the end of August. If you climb the 137 steps to the observation platform at the top of the tower, you will be rewarded with a magnificent view of the surrounding landscape and, on clear days, all the way to Berlin. With the flyers you receive at the exit, you can round off your visit to Großbeeren with a walk to other notable memorial sites such as the Schinkel Church or the Bülow Pyramid.
