Almfest auf der Wurzeralm mit Nacht der Bergfeuer

On Saturday 27 June 2026, the traditional Almfest will take place on the Wurzeralm. Here, customs are cultivated, laughter, singing, dancing and much more. Children (and adults too) can have fun and experience exciting things at numerous stations, with a varied live music programme providing the backdrop. The Xandis and the Fetzenplattler will also be performing.Night of the Mountain Fires as the highlight of the AlmfestThe traditional Night of the Mountain Fires will once again be breathtaking and undoubtedly the centrepiece of the Almfest this year. Members of the mountain rescue services of the Pyhrn-Priel region will light the "Peter and Paul fires" on the surrounding mountain peaks at 10 pm. Accompanied by upbeat music, this creates an atmosphere that you are unlikely to forget for a long time. The last descent on the funicular railway is at midnight, and there are also discounted prices on the day of the event.
