STERN-COMBO MEISSEN Live Tour at the Theater am See

Originally founded in 1964 in Meissen, Saxony, by Martin Schreier and other musicians, the STERN-COMBO MEISSEN will be on their highly successful anniversary tour from early 2024 to mid-September 2025, performing live at over 60 concerts under the motto "60 Years... the Long Journey." In sold-out venues, the band impressively demonstrated that despite their 60 years of experience, they sound anything but "dusty" or "old-fashioned." On the contrary: as the oldest art rock legend, the band presented themselves as fresh and full of new musical ideas! The release of the work "The Sky Disc of Nebra" in September 2024 provided the perfect momentum, receiving top marks from both the audience and numerous media outlets. Especially singer, keyboardist, and composer Manuel Schmid emerged once again as the creative driving force of the band with this work, which compellingly addresses the creation of a culturally and historically significant artifact of human history – namely, this sky disc. "The Sky Disc of Nebra" seamlessly integrates into the previous artistic output of STERN-COMBO MEISSEN. In 2025/26, STERN-COMBO MEISSEN will again be heard live on many stages across the country. New songs are to be expected, but unforgettable classics like "The Fight for the South Pole," "The Legend," "The Long Journey," "Hour Strike," "We Are the Sun," "One Night," "Take the World in Your Hands," or excerpts from the conceptually designed work "White Gold" will of course also be part of this tour.
