The potential for something big became evident 10 years later when the second club was opened in Berlin. The "Kleine Revue im Friedrichstadtpalast" became a Quatsch Comedy Club and quickly established itself as the motherhouse of German stand-up comedy. As the "mother of German stand-up comedy," Thomas Hermanns has laid the groundwork for many great comedians.
