Nine people from Brandenburg, Baden-Württemberg, East and West Berlin share their experiences with the division of Germany, the fall of the Berlin Wall, and life in a united country in the video installation "Generation 1975." They were all 14 years old when the Wall fell – old enough to consciously experience political and social changes, and young enough to remain open to the new. What opportunities arose? What securities were lost? The installation presents transformation as a personal story that continues to resonate today. Visitors encounter the eyewitnesses in an immersive presentation featuring a 55-minute thematic film and in-depth interviews – intimate, multifaceted, and moving. For more information: Learn more.
