EMPIRE OF THE SUN are returning to Europe this summer on their ASK THAT GOD TOUR 2026. The Australian electronic icons Empire of the Sun will return to Europe and the UK in May as part of their "Ask That God Tour 2026," inviting audiences to experience their legendary live performances at over 20 dates. The multi-platinum awarded duo will revisit countries that were already part of their eagerly awaited Europe Tour 2025 (their first performances in Europe in six years) and will bring the show for the first time to Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Austria, Denmark, and other countries.
With a discography that includes four acclaimed studio albums, billions of streams, as well as significant remixes and reinterpretations, including their current EP Alive (Reimagined), Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore continuously push sonic boundaries and have created a world around the project that is entirely their own. Their highly anticipated album Ask That God, released in 2024, marked a new era for the duo and was their first album in 8 years, blending existential themes with their unmistakable, imaginative, and nostalgically tinged synth-pop sound. With fan favorites like "Changes," "Cherry Blossom," and "Music On The Radio," Ask That God has achieved over 500 million global streams, captivating listeners and their live audience around the world.
Their consistently captivating live shows straddle the line between fantasy and reality, transporting the audience into a kaleidoscopic world of spectacular visuals, theatrical staging, and larger-than-life production. The Ask That God Tour 2025 evolved into a milestone global tour, selling out headline shows across North America and Europe, showcasing the band's most ambitious live production to date. In North America, the tour drew fans to major metropolises like Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Toronto, Denver, and Berkeley. Additionally, a performance at the completely sold-out Red Rocks Amphitheatre and festivals such as Austin City Limits, CRSSD, and Just Like Heaven adorned the tour. Empire of the Sun continued this success in Europe, with sold-out shows in London, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Milan, Barcelona, and Lisbon, including a show at the Old Royal Naval College in London that sold out in no time, as well as performances on major summer festival stages. The tour also extended to South America, where the band performed at renowned festivals like Lollapalooza Brasil (São Paulo) and Estéreo Picnic (Bogotá). This once again underscored Empire of the Sun's enduring global appeal and their status as one of the most visually and sonically distinctive live acts in the world.
With beloved classics like "Walking On A Dream," "We Are The People," "Alive," and "High and Low," as well as songs from their current album Ask That God, fans can look forward to an immersive and unforgettable live experience during the Europe Tour of Empire Of The Sun.
