He can confidently be regarded as a stylistically influential figure in recent rock history; Pete Doherty is certainly an indie legend. His public scandals and shocking drug escapades with supermodel Kate Moss are unforgettable, making the frontman of The Libertines (alongside Carl Barât) a regular feature in the tabloid media during the 2000s. During that time, Doherty also founded his second band, Babyshambles, which delivered the next indie anthem in the UK with "Fuck Forever." Today, chaos and scandals are long in the past. After a years-long hiatus, Babyshambles returned to the stage in 2025 and even released their first new song in 12 years, the reggae/ska-infused "Dandy Hooligan." (dob)
