Cozy fair fashion, fine porcelain for tea ceremonies, and comforting scents await visitors at the Edelstoff Winter Market on February 21 and 22 at the Vienna MARX HALLE, where cool must-buys will warm hearts. When snowflakes dance through the air, raindrops fall from the sky, or icy winds whistle through the streets, winter shows its most beautiful side at the MARX HALLE. Regardless of the weather, 170 young labels and small manufacturers from Austria and neighboring countries will present their unique creations at the Edelstoff Winter Market: warming slow fashion, cozy accessories, sparkling jewelry, affordable art for your home, rich cosmetics, culinary specialties, and cuddly items for kids.

Winter treasure hunt
Edelstoff is an established design market for creative treasures and offers a popular mix of historical backdrop, space for encounters and inspiration, relaxed atmosphere, and seasonal must-haves four times a year. At the market curated by founders Sabine Hofstätter and Simone Aichholzer, around 45 designers will be participating for the first time in February. Hofstätter emphasizes: "This time, more than 75 percent of the labels are from Austria. They impress with uniquely creative products that are sustainably and handcrafted in small series." Those looking to support young designers and seek alternatives to mass production will find what they are looking for here. Aichholzer adds: "The creations of our exhibitors cannot be found in conventional stores. A visit to us is worth it." During the shopping stroll, visitors have the opportunity to meet the producers personally, learn more about their work, and purchase high-quality products.

Cozy items for the body
BOW TO YAK focuses on fair fashion made from uncolored, eco-certified yak wool from Mongolia. Maison Corinna Houidi showcases avant-garde haute couture. GERTRUD BELLE presents stylish outdoor clothing for women, made in Germany. And Verginale complements the offering with Berlin chic in purist imperfection.

Sparkling goodies
Yo_Soy impresses with minimalist jewelry in clear, geometric shapes. Sunshine Seeds Jewelry offers jewelry made from glass beads. Dog’s Paradise presents individual dog accessories. HoopsandLoops-byAnita features crocheted baskets and home accessories. And Smell Me brings luxurious room fragrances made from natural raw materials.

Cool design
Duosglass captivates with glass terrariums featuring moss and glass flowers. Mr. Tischtennis makes his debut with mini tables, decorated paddles, cases, and nets. Smaajette produces tea and coffee pots made from cast iron. Timeless One showcases a luxury lounge chair made of wood and metal. Vivere Ceramics presents colorful unique pieces made from clay. And Wiener Bild offers architectural models of Vienna's historic facades in picture frames.

Edlwhite treats guests to blackcurrant liqueur with edelweiss flavor, Schlipf & Co with traditional Schlipf dumplings, and Carinthian cheese noodles. Nature in a Pocket offers natural skincare in glass jars. And MANUFABA provides soy products from its own organic cultivation.

Watch & Do-It-Yourself
In addition to shopping, the experience is also at the forefront of the Edelstoff Winter Market. In demonstration workshops, designers give their products the final touch live: necklaces are made to individual wishes, wet bags are sewn on-site, clothing items are personalized using a plotter, small watercolor paintings are created, bracelets are made on a mini loom, and the leather shaping process of handmade corsets is demonstrated. Participation is possible in the workshops by Emma’s Art Room and Ocker Studio: Visitors can paint their own picture with Emma at "Painting & Wine" and create floral decorations and glitter jewelry with Petra. No registration is required; just come by.

Culinary world tour
Hungry shopping queens and kings will be pampered in the 1,000 m² street food area in a cozy lounge atmosphere with dishes from around the world. The offerings range from bowls (vegan protein, chicken, salmon) to curry, samosas, dim sum, and Tibetan dumplings, as well as pizza, homemade pasta, wraps (organic pork, organic beef, or vegetarian/vegan), and regional classics like cheese dumplings and pumpkin "con carne." Sweet treats are available in the form of cake pops, cakesicles, cupcakes, cookies, tarts, and cakes. Mango lassi, chai, coffee, and (spritz) wine will be served alongside.
