Baroque masterpieces played on original instruments bring the sound of their time to life and provide direct access to the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. The vocal highlight and conclusion of the series feature the vocal styles of France, Italy, the German-speaking region, and England side by side. The regional characteristics become audible when the musical expression is closely intertwined with the rhythm, timbre, and emphasis of the respective language.

Established as the smallest opera and concert house in Austria, the performances in the KRYPTA captivate with their intensity, high quality, and unusual venue. Located deep beneath St. Peter's Church in Vienna, the intimate hall offers a personal experience that attracts guests from all over the world. The KRYPTA is pleasantly temperate in every season.
