Fish Guiding at Lake Traunsee

During the fish guiding at Lake Traunsee, professional fisherman Benjamin Mayr provides hands-on insights into how traditional wild catch fishing works today. Participants accompany the lifting of nets, learn about the fish species of Lake Traunsee, and gain insight into the work and responsibilities of a profession that is rarely practiced today. An extraordinary experience. Afterwards, several dishes such as grilled fish, grilled crayfish, or ceviche made from lake char are prepared together in front of the fisherman's hut.
