The lonely Frankenstein (Bale) travels to 1930s Chicago to ask the brilliant scientist Dr. Euphronius (played by the five-time Oscar® nominee Annette Bening) to create a companion for him. The two reanimate a murdered young woman – "the Bride" (Buckley) is born. But what unfolds next exceeds all their expectations: murder! Obsession! An unleashed, radical cultural movement!
