On Saturday and Sunday, May 30 and 31, 2026 (Sat 10 AM - 6 PM and Sun 10 AM - 4 PM), the "Basket Weavers' Market" will take place at the Stadthalle, 2630 Ternitz. With the support of the Sierningtal-Flatzer Wand Nature Park, we invite basket weavers from all over Austria and interested individuals. The traditional craft can be admired and tried out.
A unique networking event for all weaving enthusiasts and fans! The market, which is open to everyone, offers an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas about weaving patterns, willow cultivation, and various weaving techniques.
Visitors can not only admire the craftsmanship of exhibitors from all over Austria but also actively participate and try their hand at weaving. The basket weavers of the region hope that many interested individuals and guests will find their way to this noteworthy gathering.
