Every year in autumn, the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park transforms into an impressive natural spectacle: thousands of migratory birds stop here on their long journey between the Arctic and Africa. The 18th Migratory Bird Days in 2026 invite you to experience this unique event up close. Expertly guided excursions, lectures, and creative participation opportunities bring both young and old nature enthusiasts closer to the fascinating migration of birds. Whether on the dike, on a ship, or at a reading – the event offers exciting insights into the lives of migratory birds and the significance of the Wadden Sea as an internationally important resting place. A celebration for all who want to discover nature with all their senses.
