When vibrant colors envelop historical buildings and light art makes the darkness shine, a very special time begins in Krummhörn: the Krummhörn Lichtertage (Light Days). During this open-air event, the region transforms into a fascinating Gesamtkunstwerk (total work of art) of light, shadow, and music. Artists creatively stage churches, squares, and paths, allowing familiar places to appear in a completely new light. Visitors can stroll through gently illuminated villages, admire light installations, and enjoy the unique atmosphere that connects tradition and modernity – atmospheric, free of charge, and unforgettable.
