WWF Birdwatching Tour

In spring and summer, there are numerous breeding coastal birds in the Wadden Sea. On this tour, we will be on the lookout for them as well as other birds. Around 10 million wading and water birds rest in and around the Wadden Sea on their journey between southern wintering areas and Arctic breeding grounds. National park bird guides will accompany you on this enjoyable observation tour. Depending on the season, the route leads through the salt marshes, to the mudflats behind the dike, or along the paved pier. Professional optics - spotting scopes and binoculars - will support our joint discoveries, revealing a completely new world. You will learn a lot about conservation measures and current bird research. Additionally, there will be tips on how to use field guides, ideal locations, and appropriate behaviors for independent birdwatching.
