The Hausberger Hütte, often referred to as Germany's smallest Christmas market, has been enriching the pre-Christmas season in Porta Westfalica since 2015. Centrally located in Hausberge, the hut is operated by local clubs and organizations that take turns serving mulled wine and punch. The proceeds support the Bürgerhaus, a cultural center of the city. This initiative not only fosters community spirit but also revitalizes the city center and provides a platform for volunteer engagement. The idea originated in the working group on attractiveness and has since established itself as a fixed part of the Advent season.
