A thread may seem inconspicuous, but it is full of work steps. This morning will show the journey from wool to finished thread. Various materials will be presented and can be touched. The differences between wool, yarn, and thread will be explained in an easily understandable way. A special focus will be on the technique of weaving. Historical references to regional textile production will be addressed. In practice, small thread pictures will be created. With simple means, yarn will be transformed into a decorative artwork.
