RangerTour: Birdsong Tour

With a bird song tour, the nature conservation team is participating in the Brandenburg Concert Spring at the Nature and Star Park Westhavelland. Concert enthusiasts will meet with ranger Dr. Thomas Klinner at the large parking lot by the Havelgarten e.V. community garden in Havelweg, Rathenow. From here, the excursion will lead to the vineyard and the Bismarck Tower to listen to the hopefully numerous soloists. Since these are freelance artists performing without a fee, it remains to be seen who will appear on the natural stage. In addition to the garden redstart, various species of tits are expected, including great and blue tits, as well as other typical garden birds that can also be observed at the bird feeder in winter; last year, a robin was also heard. For the event, which is expected to last about two hours, clothing suitable for the weather is recommended, preferably in subdued colors, as well as sturdy footwear. A pair of binoculars can be very helpful for getting a closer look at some of the singers. This tour is part of the "Ranger and Experience Tours" program.
