RangerTour: Kiss the Frog

Numerous ranger tours are included in the program for the 16th edition of the "Brandenburg Concert Spring," organized by the Nature Watch. In the Nature and Star Park Westhavelland, participants will get closer to frogs and toads. What amphibians can be found in the Nature and Star Park Westhavelland? Ranger Clemens Herche will provide information on this topic. Since the creatures do not always appear when one wishes to present them, the event will begin at 9 AM in Parey at the Nature Watch base. Here, Herche will introduce various amphibians and inform participants about their lifestyles and habitats. Following this, the "toad fence" will be checked, hoping to find one or two specimens that can be safely removed from the bucket and transported across the road, but only after they have been carefully examined, identified, and registered. Comfortable clothing suitable for the weather and sturdy footwear are recommended for participation. This event is part of the "Ranger and Experience Tours" offerings.
