Cultural Summer Schloss Schwöbber

The summer in the Weserbergland will once again be crowned by the Cultural Summer at Schloss Schwöbber from August 14 to 16, 2025. Extraordinary open-air concerts featuring international artists in the courtyard of Schloss Schwöbber promise magical summer nights with a high-caliber concert lineup in the genres of swing, classical, and jazz. Immerse yourself in the unique setting of one of the most magnificent Weser Renaissance castles, which will be transformed into a sea of colors for three evenings.

August 14: SWING "A Swinging Affair" with Joscho Stephan and Torsten Goods
With Torsten Goods and Joscho Stephan, the two most famous German jazz guitarists of their generation come together, accompanied by Stephan Rey, to play Gypsy swing and swinging classics with vocals, such as those by Nat King Cole, George Benson, and Torsten Goods himself.

August 15: CLASSICAL Opera re:told
"The Abduction from the Seraglio" is one of Mozart's most beautiful operas. "Opera re:told" presents the story, narrated by actor Frederic Böhle, with Mozart's music performed by the Gutenberg Ensemble. Not sung, but told in a new way. Opera distilled to its essence. A captivating story paired with wonderful music. That's all it takes.

August 16: JAZZ Julian & Roman Wasserfuhr with Friends
Trumpeter Julian and his brother Roman on piano are among the best in German jazz. Characterized by a unique blend of emotional depth and technical perfection, the music of the brilliant brothers enchants with virtuosity, sensitivity, and a fine sense for melodies.
