Power sites and power places around the sacred Untersberg

The mythological landscape surrounding the Untersberg presents our homeland in a new, mysterious light. Tales of nature spirits, mountain spirits, and the primordial mother of the Alps – Frau Percht – testify to a deep spiritual connection with nature. Ancient traditions point the way to special power spots, healing springs, and cult sites, whose effects are still felt today. Local researcher, author, and landscape mythologist Rainer Limpöck from Freilassing takes his listeners on a fascinating journey of discovery. With impressive images and vivid stories, he reveals the hidden core of many legends about the "wonder mountain" Untersberg and creates a new understanding of its mysterious aura. Limpöck has authored numerous publications on the Untersberg and its mythology, has been involved in film and radio projects, and initiated the Perchtweg, a pilgrimage route around the Untersberg, in 2022. He regularly leads hikes to the spiritual sites of the region and has been organizing the Alpine Shaman Meeting for 20 years.
