MADE IN GMUNDEN - AoCG Artists in Residence

The Academy of Ceramics Gmunden (AoCG), part of Gmundner Keramik OÖ Landes-Kultur GmbH, aims to foster exchange and mutual inspiration between contemporary artists and one of the oldest ceramic sites in Europe. Artist-in-Residence stays, along with accompanying exhibitions and discussion formats, promote the transfer of artistic craftsmanship know-how.
The Gmundner Keramik Manufactory provides guest artists with workshops and offers both the necessary infrastructure and expert support. In doing so, the AoCG connects to the long tradition of combining craftsmanship with fine art—a lineage that traces back to the Wiener Keramik produced in Gmunden and its characteristic Art Nouveau objects.
