"Welling quizzes"

The Fachwerk, built in 1775, does have a bar, but it is by no means a pub. However, much like in an English pub, there is a quiz night held under the motto "Welling quizzt." Each table group tries to gather the most points together to become the winner of the evening and secure a prize. The idea for this general knowledge competition comes from Great Britain and is much older than "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" Questions are posed from various fields of knowledge. Each team must come up with the answers on their own but may discuss among themselves. There are breaks between the rounds with music from Jürgen Wilmsmann. Quiz groups can consist of a maximum of six people and must choose a name in advance. Table groups can register with Heinz Dammeyer (Tel. 0174/7375639 or heinzdammeyer1954@googlemail.com). An entry fee of ten euros per person is charged.
