o2 Surf Masters 2026

After the successful launch last year, the o2 SURF MASTERS 2026 will enter their second edition. The contest series for Rapid Surfing continues to grow and brings together Germany's best standing waves and surfers. The compact contest format, short heats, and maximum action create excitement for both the riders and the audience on-site and in the livestream. The elite of the German Rapid Surf scene will be present, including Marius Gerlach, Valeska Schneider, Lenny Weinhold, and Lea Sasse. The lineup will also feature local heroes from the respective locations, adding extra excitement for the home crowd. "In 2026, the o2 SURF MASTERS will take it up a notch. It is extremely important for our sport to have a professional contest stage regularly. I am super excited to be a part of it and to see how the scene develops," says Maurice Friedrich, head judge of the series. However, the o2 SURF MASTERS are more than just a contest. Around the heats, the scene will gather for an open program filled with community vibes, music, and urban culture. The focus is clearly on the shared experience of surfing in urban spaces, accessible to the scene, locals, and all surf enthusiasts.
