The Taubenhof is showing the film "Butterflies in the Ear." The plot: Antoine is a handsome, divorced history teacher in his early fifties, and he is a master at simply ignoring certain symptoms of aging. Reactions from his students that he does not understand, or the sudden breakup with his girlfriend, much of it just passes him by. Even the morning ringing of his alarm clock—his failure to hear it must clearly be due to the alarm clock, which his neighbor sees differently. The deafening ringing drives her to madness and to Antoine's front door. Admission starts at 6:30 PM. Ticket reservations can be made at taubenhof@ruehls.info. Registration is not required.
