Organ Music at Market Time The popular concert series "Organ Music at Market Time" continues. On Saturday, August 1st at 10:30 AM, KMD Melanie Jäger-Waldau from Überlingen will perform. KMD Melanie Jäger-Waldau has been the Münsterkantorin at Überlingen Münster since 1995 and serves there as an organist, choir director (Münsterchor, Münsterkantorei, vocal ensemble, and youth choir with five choir groups), as well as a conductor and artistic director of the Überlingen Münster concerts. She studied church music and concert organ with Franz Lehrndorfer at the Music Academy in Munich. She has attended masterclasses for organ and choral conducting with Daniel Roth, Luigi Fernando Tagliavini, Helmuth Rilling, Frieder Bernius, and Eric Ericson. Since 2016, she has been leading the Pueri Cantores Association of the Archdiocese of Freiburg and is a member of the executive board of Pueri Cantores Germany. She has served as a jury member and lecturer. She is a member of the editorial teams for "Freiburger Kinderchorbuch 2" and "Tagzeitenliturgien zum Neuen Gotteslob." She is also a member of the Church Music Commission of the Archdiocese of Freiburg and a specialist advisor in ACV Germany. Admission is free. Donations are appreciated.
