Organ music at market time The popular concert series "Organ music at market time" continues. On Saturday, August 1, at 10:30 a.m., KMD Melanie Jäger-Waldau from Überlingen will perform. KMD Melanie Jäger-Waldau has been cantor at Überlingen Cathedral since 1995, where she works as organist, choir director (cathedral choir, cathedral cantors, vocal ensemble, and youth choir with five choir groups), and conductor and artistic director of the Überlingen Cathedral Concerts. She studied church music and concert organ with Franz Lehrndorfer at the Munich University of Music. She took master classes in organ and choir conducting with Daniel Roth, Luigi Fernando Tagliavini, Helmuth Rilling, Frieder Bernius, and Eric Ericson. Since 2016, she has been the director of the Pueri Cantores Association of the Archdiocese of Freiburg and is a member of the executive committee of Pueri Cantores Germany. Jury and lecturer. Member of the editorial groups "Freiburger Kinderchorbuch 2" and "Tagzeitenliturgien zum Neuen Gotteslob." Member of the Church Music Commission of the Archdiocese of Freiburg.
