Singer and actress Janine Hickl, along with Bernd Leichtfried on piano and Maria Boneva on violin, takes the audience into the world of well-known stars and leads them on a stroll through the streets of Paris. Together, they explore the sensual melodies of the golden era of film to the powerful anthems of the 1970s. “DIVAS – Les Grandes Dames de la Chanson” is a tribute to the unforgettable chansons and female artists of these years, who have inspired generations – and a memorable Mother’s Day gift to celebrate all the strong women in our lives.

Janine Hickl and Bernd Leichtfried are passionately dedicated to preserving and reinterpreting the music from the 1920s to the 1970s, as well as the art of storytelling. They use the stage as a place of remembrance, where the life paths of remarkable female artists are shared and their works preserved. With heart and soul, they capture both the essence and the brilliance of past times, bridging the gap between the past and the present. On their shared artistic journey, the collective has already created and brought to the stage several musical revues internationally. These include “Nothing in Between – the Simple, Complicated Life of Hedy Lamarr,” a portrait of the actress and inventor Hedy Lamarr, “Aufgelöst – Georg Kreisler’s Works for Topsy Küppers,” and “An Evening with Edith Piaf.”
