Schubert String Quintet

Five musicians from the cultural association Metamorphose will perform for the first time in the Europasaal in Weiz with Franz Schubert's String Quintet in C major, a gem of chamber music literature.

In this work, symphonic dimensions merge with delicate chamber music voice leading, ethereal beauty of sound contrasts with dramatic elements. The cultural association Metamorphose is a dedicated collective of musicians based in Graz, focusing on chamber music in all its facets. The members of this collective are primarily graduates of the University of Arts Graz and have come together through their intensive artistic collaboration in various projects. Characterized by curiosity, openness, and a high artistic standard, they bring fresh energy to the traditional chamber music scene.
