The nearly 40 musicians of the Georgsmarienhütte Wind Orchestra perform a colorful mix of film music, arrangements of well-known rock and pop songs from the last 50 years, as well as works specifically composed for wind orchestras. The wind orchestra traces its roots back to the orchestra of the steelworks from 1862 and was revived in its current form in 1972.
