Thomas Scheytt is regarded as "one of the best contemporary Boogie and Blues pianists. He combines high pianistic skill with an incredible, deeply felt variety of expression" (Jazzpodium Germany). On Sunday, November 15, 2026, at 5:30 PM, he will perform classics of Blues & Boogie Woogie along with his own compositions at Stauffenberg Castle in Albstadt-Lautlingen.

Scheytt is one of the busiest musicians in the European Blues and Boogie scene. For over 20 years, he has been a guest not only as a solo artist but also with his trio Boogie Connection in jazz clubs and at festivals both domestically and internationally - including four times at the world-famous New Orleans Jazz Festival in Ascona. Scheytt has received multiple awards, notably the nomination of his CD "Blues Colours" for the German Record Critics' Award and winning the German Blues Award twice in 2015.
