The novel "La Syndicaliste" by Caroline Michel-Aguirre tells the true story of the struggle of a fearless woman against a seemingly overpowering opponent. In novel form, this book narrates how the once strong woman was to be broken by a insidious perpetrator-victim reversal. And - very importantly - how the defenseless victim rises, becomes articulate, develops remarkable strength, and frees herself from the victim role. The translator of the book, Eva Stegen, will read from her German translation and will also answer questions afterwards. In collaboration with the DGB district association Markgräflerland.
