48th Großauer Blunzenkirtag

The Blunzenkirtag is a traditional community event organized by the Winegrowers' Association of Großau, the Tourism Association, and the municipality of Bad Vöslau. The 48th Großauer Blunzenkirtag will take place on November 21 and 22. The opening, featuring a square concert by the BBV, the cutting of the giant blood sausage, and the tasting, as well as the traditional raffle, will take place on Saturday, November 21 at 2:30 PM. On Sunday, November 22, the Blunzenkirtag will start at 11 AM. There will be a cutting of the blood sausage and a raffle on both Saturday and Sunday. Following this, the crowning of the Blunzen Queen or King will take place.

In addition to the traditional "kirtag stalls," there will also be pony rides for our young visitors.

What makes it special: Every Heuriger in Großau will be open and will offer delicious blood sausage specialties and the famous "Staubiger." A good atmosphere is guaranteed with the charming people of Großau. To ensure you can get to and from the event easily, there will be a bus shuttle service running every hour to and from the Blunzenkirtag that weekend.
