Herta Ostermüncher (*1938 in Steyr, †2011 in Linz) graduated from the Commercial Academy in Steyr and worked in industrial graphics.
Student of Helene Bourgeois (watercolor), Prof. Franz Öhner (textile art), Prof. Hans Staudacher (painting), Prof. Alfred Billy (lithography).
From 1980, she participated in various exhibitions and exhibition collaborations.
Board member of the Club der Begegnung – CDB.
Founding member and management of KV Schloss Sigharting.
Member of the State Cultural Council.
Cultural Medal of the State of Upper Austria.
Cultural Medal of the City of Linz.
