Anniversary Concert: 95 Years of the Glass Factory and City Orchestra Bärnbach

For 95 years, the Glass Factory and City Orchestra of Bärnbach has shaped the cultural life of the city and the Graz experience region. In 2026, this traditional orchestra will celebrate this special anniversary with a festive concert evening. Under the motto "The Best of 95 Years," musical highlights from nearly a century of the association's history will be performed on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Volkshaus Bärnbach. The audience can expect a varied program featuring classical brass music, well-known film melodies, musical titles, marches, polkas, and modern compositions. This showcases the orchestra's musical roots as well as its development into a contemporary ensemble. The evening will be moderated by Gregor Waltl from ORF Steiermark, who will guide the audience through the event with extensive knowledge and charming anecdotes. Admission is based on voluntary donations. The concert will begin at 6:00 PM. With this anniversary concert, the Glass Factory and City Orchestra of Bärnbach also honors the long-standing commitment of many musicians and supporters.
