Mieze Medusa (*1975) lives in Vienna. As a rapper and spoken-word performer, she has been on international stages since 2002 and has carried her MC name into prose. Her debut novel "Freischnorcheln" was published in 2008, and since then she has published prose texts, as well as collections of poetry slam texts and recordings by the hip-hop duo mieze medusa & tenderboy, as well as theater works and musically experimental projects. Other novels by Mieze Medusa include: "Du bist dran" (2021), "Was über Frauen geredet wird" (2022), and "Hätte ich es vorher gewusst, hätte ich es genauso gemacht" (2025).
